Heading South From Cape Town – An Epic Ocean Robotic Journey Begins

02-June-2014 – One of CSIR’s Liquid Robotics SV-2 Wave Gliders, fitted with a suite of scientific sensors departed from the breakwater of Cape Town docks to undertake an epic mission from Africa to the Southern Ocean, as part of the CSIR’s SOCCO program.
